NMS Series 3D Printing Additive Recycling System

NMS Series 3D Printing Additive Recycling System

【Material Requirements】:Metal powders used in the 3D printing process

【Product Overview】:The NMS Series 3D Printing Additive Recycling System, developed by Navector, builds on the features of the NMS Series Butterfly Screen to provide a stable and efficient solution for the recycling and reuse of metal powders in cutting-edge 3D printing processes. This system represents a patented technology that fills a gap in the field (Patent Type: Utility Model Patent; Patent No.: ZL 201921374052.X; Certificate No.: 10679848).

Product Introduction

Principle Introduction

During metal powder laser-based additive manufacturing (3D printing), condensed metal particles are generated and can contaminate the powder. Reactive metal powders like aluminum or titanium, as well as fine particles, are prone to oxidation. The system continuously draws in these dispersed metal powders for separation. Throughout the recycling process, the powders remain in a fully enclosed inert gas environment, maintaining low oxygen levels to prevent oxidation. The separated metal powder is then returned to the powder feeder for reuse.

Equipment Advantages

  • Fully enclosed and filled with inert gas, ensuring low oxygen content and explosion protection
  • Separates molten or oversized particles, providing stable operation for the printing system
  • Continuous separation without interrupting the printer’s operation
  • Automatic recovery and refeeding of powder, eliminating manual handling and protecting operators
  • Enables additive recycling, reducing material loss
  • Few components with simple assembly/disassembly for thorough cleaning, saving maintenance time
  • Sealed operation prevents fine powder escape and minimizes noise

Applications

Used in the 3D printing industry to collect, filter, and recycle metal powders during the printing process, enabling efficient reuse of raw materials.
